These Terms of Service govern your participation in the Arcgate Walkathon 2026. By connecting your Strava account, you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility

This application is available exclusively to current Arcgate employees registered in the Arcgate Walkathon 2026 event. Participation is voluntary.

2. Strava account connection

By connecting your Strava account, you grant this application permission to:

• Read your public and follower-visible activities
• Access your activity performance metrics (distance, pace, heart rate, steps, elevation)
• Display your name and activity data on the internal event leaderboard

We request only read and activity:read permissions. We will never post to Strava on your behalf.

3. Fair participation

• Only submit genuine walk, run, or hike activities during the event period
• Not attempt to manipulate GPS data, activity metrics, or submission times
• Not use virtual activities or mechanical assistance to inflate distances
• Accept the event organizer's decisions regarding flagged or disputed activities

4. Data use

Your activity data is used solely for this event. Full details are in our Privacy Policy.

5. Leaderboard display

By connecting your Strava account, you consent to your name and activity statistics being displayed on the internal Arcgate Walkathon leaderboard.

6. Health and safety

Participation is at your own risk. Arcgate encourages participants to exercise within their personal fitness limits. Arcgate is not liable for any injury arising from participation.

7. Disconnecting your account

You may disconnect at any time via strava.com/settings/apps.

8. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes shall be resolved through Arcgate's internal HR processes.
